Vending Policy

  • Space Details: Each vending segment is ~8x10 feet, including a front and back table, and two chairs. Additional tables are available for a fee.
  • Participation: Vendors occurs at times listed as "flea market open" in the schedule. Vendor fees may be direct costs or in-kind donations of services, goods, or auction items.  These are negotiated with the vendor manager at the time you make your vending request.
  • Space Requests: You may request a specific location, but we reserve the right to adjust for optimal participation.
  • Payment: Your space is confirmed only after payment is received.
  • Power: Power is available, but bring a 100-foot extension cord and a power strip to share.
  • Setup and Tear Down: You may only occupy your space during designated "flea market" hours. Setup and teardown are allowed one hour before and after these hours.
  • Responsibility: Ensure your setup doesn’t encroach on other spaces. Items should be appropriate for the event. Consult us if you’re unsure.
  • Security: Spangler Arena is locked at 9 pm daily, but it’s not considered secure. Protect your belongings accordingly.  MWGB is not responsible for loss of theft.

Spangler Arena Setup

  • Vendors are set up along the wall by the large doors. You may park one vehicle on the grass if it doesn’t block traffic.
  • The floor is part concrete, part dirt. Cover your items to prevent dust buildup when inactive.
  • The arena isn’t air-conditioned. Bring fans for hot days, and secure your area against wind.
  • Restrooms are available.
  • Food vendors are nearby, but food service isn’t included in vendor fees.
  • Respect the reserved area for the event stage center of the vending area.
  • Wifi is available on the grounds from a third party for a fee, but is often unreliable:  consider using your data plan if you need data for POS, payment systems, etc.  Verizon seems to work best at the fairgrounds. Power is along the wall; bring an extension cord if needed.
